Here’s a super easy and delicious “recipe” for all of you who don’t like to think too much about your cooking (which is me, about 70% of the time!).
I can’t even really call it a recipe because it’s so basic. And some people might look at this post and say, “Um, duh!” but I’m hoping that this will make at least one person’s life a little easier!
There’s 2 ingredients: chicken and BBQ sauce. See? I told you it was basic.
This morning around 9:00, I put 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts into my slowcooker (or crockpot… whatever term you prefer!
) and covered them with BBQ sauce. I set the cooker to “low” and ignored it for the next 6 hours.
Around 3:00 this afternoon, I took the chicken out and shredded it with two forks. This was really easy to do because the chicken was already falling apart.
Then I tossed all of the chicken back in, added a little more sauce (because you know how much I love condiments!), and left it alone until Brandon came home from work.
Served it on whole wheat buns with a side of spicy sweet potato fries, and it was done. Piece of cake (mmm… cake…).
It really was extremely tasty, easy, and pretty darn nutritious. Brandon gave it his seal of approval, which is always a good sign!
Hope everyone has a great evening! I’m off to pack for Chicago!!

Okay I love your blog!!! You are so funny! and I can relate
Blessings,
Candice
