My first “blogging” experience…

So in my quest to become “super-woman” and “super-wife”, I am attempting what some might consider to be the impossible… learn to become an amazing cook, baker, and housekeeper, while also holding a full-time job, training for a half-marathon, and growing in my faith.  Oh yeah, and find time to spend with my husband, as well.  Whew.  Of course, it helps that I have a pretty rad (yep, I used the word “rad”) husband who supports me and all of my crazy ideas.  And it helps that I work in education, so I have the next 6 weeks free to spend all the time I want in improving in these areas.

This blog is my way of documenting all of my successes… and all of my failures.  I’ve always considered myself to be a pretty open and honest person, so why not share my highs and lows with the world (or at least the 2.5 people who might actually read this thing…)?  My hope is that I can not only see myself growing in this process, but that perhaps other people would be able to relate to some of my experiences.  And who knows… maybe some people out in cyber-space will be kind enough to impart their words of wisdom and help a sister out when, let’s say, I have no idea how to get ink out of my husband’s jeans (my mother-in-law said hair spray… does anyone else concur?!).

So I look forward to this experience and all that comes with it.  And I hope those who are reading have a sweet-tooth… because it’s a requirement to read this blog. ;) (OK, not really… but I’m going to be making lots of sweet-treats along the way, so stay tuned!)

    >I love it! Can't wait to read more!! You go girl! (P.S. Matt once washed and dried an ink pen on his favorite jeans and Michigan sweatshirt….we just threw them out!)

    >Yes….another family member…here to support your endeavor, my dear :-) Sounds like fun…hope you get a lot of interesting responses. ….and just a little side note…Use 'cheap' hair spray and a toothbrush. Let the hairspray loosen up the ink in the material first. Then spray & scrub some more, then finally rinse and scrub. Best Wishes with everything!! Your tomorrow's lookin' real good :-) Love ya!
