My faith is the most significant part of my life, so I thought it deserved a page of its own.
I am a Christian.
What does being a Christian mean to me?
- It means that I believe Jesus died for me (and for the rest of the world). (John 3:16)
- It means that I believe I am a new creation in Him and I am free from condemnation. (Romans 8:1, 2 Corinthians 5:17)
- It does NOT mean that I am now a perfect person. I am a work in progress, and I will be until the day I die. (Philippians 1:6)
- My faith is not a list of what “to do” and what “not to do.” I choose certain behaviors because I trust in His plan, not because I believe that if I don’t, I’ll go to Hell.
The God of the Universe loves ME. It’s a pretty cool concept. So why wouldn’t I want to live for Him?
