How about them (cider) apples?

Happy Monday, everyone! Smile

First of all, I just have to say “HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY” to me!! It has officially been one year since I started this blog. It’s truly unbelievable how quickly a year flies by. If you want a nice laugh, go check out my first post. Or for an even bigger laugh, the post when I tried to make blondies … twice! Quite a bit has changed on this blog in a year, hasn’t it??

Thank you all SO much for continuing to read and share this newlywed journey with me! At some point, I’m probably going to have slightly tweak the name of this blog! I guess I can’t be a newlywed forever, can I?? Thinking smile

Moving on …

I’m not someone who drinks a lot. But I do enjoy an occasional glass of wine or a beer. Especially in the summer! There’s nothing better on a hot day than a refreshing, cold drink!

So when I was contacted about reviewing a new product by Michelob, I was immediately interested.

Michelob ULTRA Light Cider is naturally sweetened and made from hand-picked apples.

015-1500

It’s also gluten-free, which may not matter to me, but I know it’s important to several of my gluten-free friends! They’re always trying to find a good, gluten-free alternative to a regular beer. Michelob ULTRA’s Light Cider would be a perfect option!

016-1500

And for those who care about calories, this light cider only has 120 calories per bottle!

So far, I’ve enjoyed my Michelob ULTRA Light Cider two different ways.

First with sushi …

011-1500

… then with a grilled chicken burger!

041-1500

Both times, I found the drink to be light, sweet, and very refreshing. A great summer-time beverage!

If you want to find out more about this product, you can visit these websites: the Sponsor’s site or Michelob ULTRA Light Cider page on BlogHer.com.

Question for ya …

Which favorite summer meal or activity do you think would go best with Michelob ULTRA Light Cider?

I don’t drink very often but when I do I like something fruity so this sounds pretty good. I’m not sure how my boyfriend feels about ciders but since he found out he has Celiac Disease he hasn’t found too many drinks that he enjoys so I’ll have to let him know about this one!

Happy Blogday! It’s crazy how fast time can fly when you’re blogging. :)

I’m not a big drinker either, but I do love the social aspect of delicious wine with a fabulous meal, or a cool drink on a hot day. I had been curious about the light cider, so thanks for testing it for me. ;) To be honest, I tend to cook with beer or something, but this cider might make for a nice sangria? [Unexpected maybe, but worth a try?]
