Happy Friday! What’s everyone doing this weekend?
So first of all, I just want to thank everyone for your support of this blog. It makes me SO happy that so many people are enjoying it as much as I enjoy writing it!! And for those of you who may be reading and not commenting, please know that I read every comment and respond to almost all of them! I love hearing what you have to say, so please don’t hesitate to tell me!
And I wanted to tell you to stay tuned, because hopefully in the next week or so, there will be some great, new changes to the blog to make it “prettier” and more reader-friendly! I’m going to be meeting with a friend from church who is going to help me with a few things, and I’m really excited about it!!
A Cleaning Question
So I am proud to say that I think our house is usually pretty darn clean. Not perfect, but clean. Dishes are done, house is vacuumed, clothes are put away… you get the idea.
But the one thing I have difficulty with is the bathtub!
I think we must have hard water, because we get that orangey-red staining around the corners of the tub.
Now, don’t judge! The rest of the tub is clean … it’s just around those edges that drives me bonkers.
So help a newlywed out. What’s the best way to get rid of that stuff?? My husband says that he always used to use the Magic Eraser (that would be BK… “before Kristen”
). Now I agree that the Magic Eraser is pretty, well, magic. But it doesn’t seem to work on the tub for me. Maybe I’m just not using enough elbow grease??
Big Brother Drama
(Warning, spoilers ahead!)
Wow, so it hit the fan last night!
I can’t believe there’s already so much drama this season. Usually people are fake-nice for at least the first few weeks! I thought that the “house meeting” was interesting. First of all, where was Adam during that meeting?? Did anyone other than me and Brandon notice that he was nowhere to be found (OK, let’s be honest, Brandon noticed … he’s much more perceptive than I am.)?
Daniele sure got called to the carpet! But I have to say, she’s right. It’s a game. Jeff (who I love and I don’t want him to go) is one of the strongest players … so if she has an opportunity to get him out of the house, she should capitalize on that.
That being said, I’m glad it didn’t work because I have a friend-crush on Jeff and Jordan. I want them to move to Ohio and go on double-dates with me and Brandon. Brandon and Jeff could bench-press together, while Jordan and I twirl our blonde hair and giggle. Oh, what fun we’d have.

But back to “reality” (or at least, reality TV) …
What was up with Dominic’s final speech? He said how cool everyone was, and then bashed everyone? I didn’t get it.
And who do you think won HOH?? I don’t like when it’s an endurance competition, and we have to wait until the following Sunday to find out! I’m way too impatient!
Questions for ya…
What should I be writing more about, in order to keep YOU entertained? Recipes? Restaurants? Marriage? Fitness? Reality TV? You tell me!
How do I get my tub to sparkle??
