I can’t believe that today is September 1st.  Summer sure did fly by, didn’t it?

Although some people dislike the month of September because it means the start of another school year, I always look forward to September for one main reason …

MY BIRTHDAY!!

Yes, it’s my birthday month.  I will be turning the big 2-8 in less than a week.

But I have to say that I’m also excited that it’s September because I’m looking forward to the start of the fall season!  I LOVE summer, but I do love autumn here in Ohio.  The leaves are gorgeous and the weather is perfect.  I’m looking forward to college football, pumpkin spice lattes, and the smell of bonfires in the air.

Today, as one month ends and another begins, I want to look back on the month of August and remember some of the good times of summer …
