Hi again! 
How was everyone’s weekend? Brandon and I had a great one. We had a date night on Friday, and we met friends for a delicious dinner on Saturday.
But I plan to talk about that later this week in another post!
For now, let’s talk babies.
(Believe it or not, that’s a pre-pregnancy sweater. It must have been gigantic on me! 
)
I cannot believe that I only have 9 weeks to go in this pregnancy. 9 weeks.
That’s SINGLE DIGITS, PEOPLE!
I think I’m both terrified and over-the-moon excited that the day is getting closer and closer.
And let’s be honest, I’m ready to wear normal clothes again!
What is baby Addison doing this week?
According to this website, “Weighing in at three-plus pounds and measuring 18 inches long, your baby is quickly approaching his birth length — though he’s got to pack on another three to five pounds before D-day. Also developing at an impressive clip: your baby’s brain connections (he’s got to make trillions of them!). He’s now processing information, tracking light, and perceiving signals from all five senses. He’s also putting in longer stretches of sleep, which is why you’re probably noticing more defined patterns of wakefulness (and movement) and rest (when he’s pretty still).”
Symptoms/Physical Changes:
Take all of the symptoms from last week, subtract the Braxton Hicks contractions, and add the ‘middle of the night leg cramps,’ and that was this past week.
Cravings/Foods I’m loving:
Really, what am I not eating right now? Pretty much anything not nailed down goes. 
OK, that’s an exaggeration. But I’m constantly hungry, and I feel like I can never bring enough food to work!
I haven’t had any particular cravings, but Brandon and I did enjoy cookies & cream milkshakes from Chick-Fil-A on Friday. If you haven’t tried one, you need to. Like, right now.
Activity Level:
I only made it to the gym twice last week. I had various events after work on all of the other days. But hey, twice is better than nothing!
Events:
- I had another doctor’s appointment on Thursday, and everything is looking good. My belly measured at 30 cm, which is right where it should be (Here’s a fun fact for you … by this point in the pregnancy, your belly should measure in centimeters approximately the same number of weeks that you are! So 30 weeks = 30 cm!).
- Brandon and I have been working on Addie’s room, and I’m finally ready to share pictures!
Note: It still isn’t finished. We need curtains and some other touches (like perhaps some more books on our very empty bookshelf!). But we’re loving how it’s looking so far!

It’s hard to tell, but the furniture is an espresso/chocolate brown color, even though it looks black in the photos!
The lamp is from Hobby Lobby, and I got it for 40% off (love their coupons!).
The mirror above the changing table is from a local antique shop (and it doesn’t normally have that funny-looking reflection!).
The chandelier is from Lowe’s (after searching online for weeks, who knew we’d end up at Lowe’s?!), and the rug is from an online store. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but it matches the bumper that is in the crib.
We ordered the wooden letters from etsy.com, and we were so excited to finally have them delivered last week!
The frames were mostly from Michael’s, and the backgrounds behind the “a” and “I” are scrapbooking paper (from Michael’s, as well).
I am the least creative person in history (no, seriously), so I’m pretty proud of what we’ve put together thus far.
And I am very thankful for my husband, who put the crib together, installed the chandelier, and hung the frames and letters. He is the best!

My grandmother was an artist and still is an amazing decorator, and my mom is super crafty. I did not inherit any of those genes!
Who else is excited that The Bachelor is on TWICE this week??

I agree what Jana said… You don’t give yourself enough credit girl! It looks SO good! You guys have done a beautiful job with it. We kind of put things “on hold” for the time being in Hunter’s room because I don’t want to get it all decorated and then find out we’re moving. So currently the room is painted with furniture set up, and a bunch of decor and clothes all over the place. Ha! We’ll get there!

oh my gosh that room looks EXACTLY like my friends room who has a daughter who is like 14 months. Like exact same placement of furniture and everything. Crazy!
Ok so I heard this week that The Bachelor told everyone that he is a virgin and everyone is all shocked. I heard that he is a Chrisitian so I am not that shocked, but I do think it will make the fantasy suites more interesting. I don’t usually watch, but my friend made me watch it with her once a few weeks ago so now of course I’m all addicted.

I am SO not crafty, and I am in awe of anyone who is, or who is able to ‘pull together’ a room or decorate. I love looking at home magazines, but never have had the ‘nesting’ bug. I kind of want letters like that in my own room though.
Oh dear me, I have only been able to watch the first night of The Bachelor! My roommate and I watch it on Hulu the day after, and we’ve only been together once since Monday so I have to keep waiting…until she gives in and lets me watch it alone! [It's just not as much fun that way...]
